A Bluey movie is on the way, putting the fear of uncontrollably sobbing in front of a crowd of children in parents everywhere

Parents should be prepared, Bluey It’s coming to the big screen soon, but don’t worry, it won’t hit theaters for a few years.

Since it came out in 2018, every second you spend with your kids without Bluey appearing in some shape or form. It was a huge hit among kids, but also their parents and adults. In fact, the series is so popular that British Broadcasting Corporation and disney Already announced Bluey to make an animated film…by 2027, so you still have a while to wait (and your kids will probably be grown up by then, so you’ll probably just have to go to the theater alone and pretend you didn’t cry over the movie) despite the fact that almost everything else Adults may do this too (there is nothing wrong with that, live your truth)).

The film, written and directed by creator Joe Blum, stars Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack returning as the voices of Pepper and Bandit Shearer, respectively, along with the rest of the series’ cast. It’s worth noting that it will also be a CG-animated film, so its atmosphere will obviously be very different from the series’ typical 2D look.

Bloom said in a statement that he “really enjoyed the experience of working on the longer format of ‘Signs’ in Season 3, so further work on a feature felt like a natural extension of that experience. I’ve always felt that Blue’ deserves a dramatic film, and I hope this becomes an experience that the whole family can enjoy.

However, on a slightly sadder side, Bloom also announced that after the film ends, he will No longer involved in Bluey’s writing“The Sign” was his last work in television. To be clear, the show isn’t over yet (you don’t need to break any bad news to your kids), so you may end up looking forward to more episodes.
