A new Microsoft wireless ergonomic keyboard is coming out this year
Accessories company Incase announced A new compact ergonomic keyboard called the “Wait a minute” compact ergonomic keyboard.
At first glance, it doesn’t look much different than most ergonomic keyboards. But this product is known for its “Microsoft design”, with its discrete ergonomic design, contoured layout and built-in padded palm rest, providing a premium typing experience.
It also stands out for its wireless technology, a valid selling point for anyone looking to optimize every ergonomic inch of their workstation setup. The Incase Compact Ergonomic Keyboard supports up to three devices via Bluetooth 5.1 and is said to last up to 36 months on two AAA batteries (included).
Other details include a dedicated Co-Pilot button for launching Microsoft’s AI Assistant on compatible machines, as well as convenient shortcuts for inserting emojis, making calls, and muting sounds. It also has a slim profile and compact layout, with full-size scissor keys with a minimum of 1.3mm of travel for easy typing.
The Incase Compact Ergonomic Keyboard will be launched “early 2025” and will cost $119.99. At this price, it’s a decent alternative to a wireless compact ergonomic keyboard that has a premium feel without falling into the $300-plus range of luxury options.
When Microsoft gave up on non-Surface mice, keyboards, and other peripherals, Incase swooped in and took over Microsoft’s accessories line. Incase continues to use these accessories now, using the same components that Microsoft used before discontinuing them.
