AI video editing coming to Instagram next year, using text prompts
AI Text prompt-based video editing is coming Instagram Next year, the company’s bosses will show off the ability to change things like clothes and video backgrounds, as well as add some funkier stuff like animated characters.
The company earlier showed off a demo video (below) of a movie generated entirely by artificial intelligence, and said it was just a research project, but it seems the first practical applications of the technology are coming sooner than expected…
Earlier this year, Meta previewed an artificial intelligence video editing and creation tool called Movie Gen.
The company said at the time that Movie Gen was “just research,” giving the impression that it wouldn’t be available to users for quite some time. You can watch a short demo video here:
