according to Mark Gurman, Bloomberg, aviation label 2.0 will significantly upgrade one of the product’s key features: precision finding. With new ultra-wideband chips, you’ll be able to track your aviation label The distance is 3 times longer than the current model.
aviation label Originally debuting in 2021, the product has remained unchanged since then. Earlier this year, we started hearing rumors of AirTag 2, although they didn’t know exactly what benefits the new model would offer. Now, we get a very clear detail:
Mark Gurman reports that the new AirTags will share the same next-generation ultra-wideband chip as the iPhone 15, so we’ll have three times the range when using pinpoint search.
The current model uses the ultra-wideband chip introduced in iPhone 11, which can currently perform precise positioning and tracking from 10-30 meters away. If the distance is tripled, we can talk about 30-90 meters, this will be a significant improvement, allowing users to better understand the actual location of their lost items.
With AirTags, if you’re outside the precise finding range, you can see the approximate location on a map or play a ringtone to help find it.
If you’re looking to buy a current model of AirTags for the holidays, you can find some great deals. You can currently receive Personal AirTags for only $24or a 4-pack for only $72.99. That’s $18 each aviation label and 4 pack!
