All sales and fests coming to Steam in first six months of 2025 – Destructoid

If you are a PC gamer, then there is no doubt that you have Steam installed and a huge library filled with games that you can play at any time. Steam is well known for its periodic sales and events, but sometimes they can sneak up on you without any warning if you’re not careful.

These special events on Steam can be divided into three types:

• Seasonal sales: A period during which any game can become available at a reduced price.
• Festivals: Themed sales during which games of a certain type are available at a reduced price.
• Next festival: The focus is on games that have not yet been released, with many demos and opportunities to contact developers becoming available.

These events typically last seven days each, with many occurring consecutively without a break. It’s always worth keeping an eye on upcoming games from your favorite developers or publishers, as they can often join these events and release new updates to coincide with them or otherwise release demos during the Next Fest event.
