Amazon Says Developers Spend ‘Just One Hour Per Day’ on Actual Coding
An anonymous reader shared a report: Amazon Web Services said in a post earlier this month that developers reported On average, “only one hour a day” for actual coding. But that doesn’t mean these workers spend the remaining seven hours of their day doing nothing. Instead, according to Amazon Web Services, developers spend most of their time on “boring, undifferentiated tasks such as learning code libraries, writing and reviewing documentation, testing, managing deployments, troubleshooting issues, or finding and fixing bugs ”.
