At the major scientific and technological achievements conference held last week, Apache SeaTunnel was selected as the 2024 open source community for its outstanding contributions in the open source field. This conference is hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology and co-organized by the China Science and Technology Communication Center, the China Computer Society, the China Communications Society, and the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It aims to commend and showcase China’s major achievements in the field of scientific and technological innovation.
Apache SeaTunnel is a cloud-native, high-performance massive data integration platform recognized for its architecture that supports SeaTunnel’s own engine Zeta Engine as well as Apache Spark and Apache Flink. The platform provides users with powerful data synchronization capabilities, supporting real-time and large-scale data synchronization between more than 160 data sources such as cloud databases, local data sources, SaaS, and large models. It supports CDC, DDL changes, and full database synchronization, and can be integrated with large models, allowing large models to connect to enterprise internal data.
In addition to announcing the 2024 open source innovation list such as Apache SeaTunnel, the conference also announced the China Computing Network (C²Net) open source open testing site, star semantic large model platform, and scholar large model.
The release of these results demonstrates the latest progress and solutions in the field of open source innovation to the global open source community. With the advancement and implementation of these plans, it is expected to further accelerate the pace of scientific and technological innovation in our country and inject new momentum into economic and social development.
