Apple announces limited edition ‘Year of the Snake’ AirTag in Japan

Every year many companies launch Special products based on zodiac signs Celebrating New Year in Japan. Since 2025 will be the Year of the Snake, Apple has now launched a limited edition AirTag with a unique snake engraving.

Apple celebrates Japan’s Year of the Snake with special AirTags and gift cards

Apple Japan website Updated to promote New Year’s events taking place between January 2nd and 5th. Japanese customers will receive Apple gift cards worth up to 30,000 yen (approximately $190) when they purchase a new Apple product such as an iPhone, iPad or Mac. Of course, the gift card amount will vary depending on the product selected.

• Beats Solo Buds, Studio Buds+ and Beats Flex: Most gift cards 6,000 yen
• Magic Keyboard for iPad and Apple Pencil (2nd generation and Pro): Most gift cards 6,000 yen
• Apple TV 4K and HomePod: Most gift cards 8,000 yen
• iPhone 14, iPhone 15 and iPhone SE: Most gift cards 11,000 yen
• Apple Watch SE, Series 10 and Ultra 2: Most gift cards 11,000 yen
• AirPods 4, AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max: Most gift cards 12,000 yen
• 10th generation iPad, M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro: Most gift cards 15,000 yen
• M2 vs. M3 MacBook Air: Most gift cards 30,000 yen

In addition to gift cards, the first 50,000 customers to purchase a new iPhone 14, iPhone 15 or iPhone SE during the event will win a limited-edition AirTag celebrating the Year of the Snake. Unfortunately, Apple won’t be selling the Year of the Snake AirTags individually.

It’s worth noting that some of the company’s high-end products, such as the iPhone 16 and MacBook Pro, are not eligible for this offer. The same goes for the recently launched iPad mini 7.
