Apple Fitness+ adds Strava integration and a ton of new content

Apple just announced a slew of updates Fitness+ Serve. It now has a progressive strength training program and a pickle ball conditioning program. There’s also a new workshop-style yoga class, breathing meditation sessions, and an artist spotlight series now featuring Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar.

The new Time to Walk series stars Adam Scott, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee and Tiffany Haddish, with exclusive dance training from Alex Wong.

Perhaps the biggest news is that Fitness+ now partners with Strava, and when you share a Fitness+ workout to Strava, the Strava app will now display rich details such as episode images, episode numbers, music genres, trainer names, and more. New and existing Strava subscribers can even redeem up to three months of Fitness+ for free.

Apple Fitness+ is priced at $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year and can be shared with up to 5 other family members. It is also included in the Apple One Premier plan. Fitness+ is only available in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, UAE, UK and US .

These new features will launch on January 6th on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Apple says that on Apple Watch, you’ll get extra “power” and track your progress with real-time metrics.
