Apple Maps on the web now supports Look Around feature
Apple launched in June Apple Web Maps Betaallowing users on other platforms (such as Windows PCs) to access its map services directly from a web browser. Although the beta was quite limited at launch, it now has an important new feature, and that’s “Look Around.”

as pointed out Chris CalleyLook Around is now available in Apple Maps on the web. according to Look at the map websitewhich lets users check coverage on major mapping platforms, a feature Apple added around December 11th.
For those unfamiliar, Look around is Apple’s version of Street View. Launched with iOS 13 in 2019, this feature allows users to explore their surroundings through a 360-degree panorama. Where available, Look Around can be accessed by tapping or tapping the binoculars icon in Apple Maps.
Look around is currently available in select cities in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other countries. The full list can be found on Apple’s website.
Apple said that the online version of Apple Maps is still in “public beta.” This web application allows users to explore maps, search for businesses and points of interest, find directions and view guides. Features like traffic maps and 3D buildings are still unavailable. There’s also no option to log in with an Apple ID to access saved places and custom guides.
Apple said it will add support for more features, platforms and languages in the future. You can try the web version of Apple Maps by visiting the following URL beta.maps.apple.com In Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
