Apple’s UK investment tops £18B, supports 550k jobs

During this period, Apple doubled the number of engineering teams in China. This builds on Apple’s long-standing links with the UK, where the company currently supports 550,000 jobs through direct employment, supply chain and the iOS app economy.

This includes support for key Apple Intelligence technologies, such as Siri’s deep integration with Apple products, and private cloud computing that sets new standards for AI privacy.

Production of Apple TV+ is also growing rapidly.
