Astro Bot Wins Game of the Year at the Game Awards 2024

“Astro Bot” won the Game of the Year Award at the 2024 Game Awards, a category that also includes “Balatro”, “Black Myth Wukong”, “Metaphor: ReFantazio” and “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth”.

“Baldur’s Gate 3” director Swen Vincke Who won last year’s GOTYpresented this year’s award, saying it “changed his life”. He also joked: “You should be informed wrap it upyou can come back and chat for three minutes at any time.

Team Asobi studio head Nicolas Doucet thanked his development team and PlayStation for their trust in Astro, and also paid tribute to Nintendo, recalling his experience playing “Super Mario Bros.” as a child. Astro Bot was one of the biggest winners of the night, taking home four awards including Best Family Game and Best Game Instructor.
