Thanks to the office Steam Deck, I now have a choice of where to play Infinity Nikki: on the couch, wrapped in a duvet, AND avoiding all my responsibilities. All jokes aside, portable gaming PCs ushered in the era of AAA mobile gaming, but they’re still pretty bulky devices. Well, the latest collection from Asus duffel bags that try to protect your expensive equipment in style.
At $800 per ROG Ally Xyou can’t just put your PDA in a big pocket and get on with your work without first facing the fear of a scratched screen. at least; A special carrying case is necessary for anyone who wants to take a laptop computer with them further than the sofa. As such, Asus introduced new items in its Slash line of travel bags specifically for storing ROG Ally and similar portable devices. Unfortunately… well, I’ll just say this: I don’t think these bags will be featured in many lookbooks this season.
Three different bags were announced: Slash Sling Bag 4.0, Slash Sleeve 4.0 and Slash Backpack 4.0. While they don’t get any points for these product names… well, they probably won’t score particularly high on battle of stylists or.
All bags are available in a stylish black colorway, and the sling bag and case feature a “tear- and water-resistant design.” I can only speculate as to why the Slash backpack isn’t described as at least “water resistant.” One possibility is that while the opening top with magnetic quick-release Fidlock buckles allows for some adjustment to the overall size of the backpack, it doesn’t provide the most secure closure—then again, maybe just wearing this backpack makes you look like a big blob.
However, 26 liters of volume is nothing to complain about: the Slash backpack can easily fit larger laptops up to 18 inches in size. Even the Slash case is quite roomy: it can fit a 16-inch laptop and accessories.
However, all of these new Slash bags have designs that I just can’t pass up. Honestly, I can see the thought process: when creating any textile product that consists almost exclusively of one shade, it makes sense to play with texture and size.
Perhaps Asus was hoping for something more in the motorcycle leather conversation, but unfortunately what they came up with is a bit like roadkill in my opinion. Alas, I dread to imagine what the Lord of Cool would say to me if I encountered one of them.
Still, I’ve glowed many times Infinity Nikki Otherwise, it lacked star power, so never say never—maybe any of these Slash duffel bags would work as part of a tech suit. In addition, neither the release date nor the prices for these new products have been announced yet.
