Asus Zenbook 14 (UM3406KA) is a Ryzen AI 7 350 laptop with an FHD+ OLED display

Asus Zenbook 14 (UM3406KA) is a thin and light laptop with a 14-inch OLED display that looks many like new Asus will also introduce the UX3405CA this week. But while this model is equipped with an Intel Arrow Lake-H processor, the UM3406KA is equipped with an AMD processor. Krakan Point processor inside. Oh, and the AMD version has a black body instead of silver or gray.

This small laptop is 0.6 inches thin and weighs 2.82 pounds with a 75Wh battery. It comes standard with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. It will be available soon for $1,000.

Asus provides details about the two models that will be both sell for the same price of $1000. But one version has 16GB of RAM and will be available at the Asus Store and Best Buy, while the other will be a 32GB model at the same price, available exclusively at Walmart:

While these are the only models Asus is announcing for the US market, it’s worth noting that the company says the laptop can technically be equipped with a display of up to 2880 x 1800 pixels at 120Hz, so we may see this version in some markets.

But for now, it looks like US customers who want a better screen (or Wi-Fi 7 support) may have to opt for an Intel model… or a different laptop.
