AT&T’s new feature tells you why a business is calling

Last year, AT&T released a branded call display in partnership with Transunion. This function shows the name and business logo that is calling. And this prevents the abuse, using with curiosity the named Strem/Shaked protocol to authentize the call source and prevent the identifier of the calling subscriber (which is usually used by Robocallers). The cause of Call is an addition to the signature call display.

People use the name and logo to decide whether to answer or not – 73% of people interviewed by Transunion said they could answer if they see the name of the business who is calling. Most users still prefer to process the main things by phone, things related to healthcare, high purchases, urgent situations, such as natural disasters and so on.

Google proven calls
Interestingly, the branded call display and the reason for the call functions are available only for Android, and not for iOS. This is a little strange, given that AT & T is the original iPhone network. In any case, this does not require a special application or something else, it is based on the functions of proven Google calls, so this is part of Android.
