Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 earbuds deliver insanely long battery life

Audio-Technica introduced the ATH-CKS50TW2 headphones. These headphones provide up to 65 hours of total playback, including 25 hours from the headphones themselves and another 40 hours from the charging case. With noise cancellation enabled, users can enjoy 15 hours of playback with the headphones and 25 hours with the case. A quick 5-minute charge provides up to 90 minutes of runtime.

One of the new features is magnetic switch technology, which turns off the headphones when magnetically connected, helping to extend battery life when not in use. The 9mm HD drivers, exclusive to Audio-Technica, are designed to deliver a balanced sound profile with strong bass.

The ATH-CKS50TW2 features hybrid noise canceling technology that uses feedforward and feedback systems to reduce ambient noise. Listening and talking modes are available for times when users need to be aware of their surroundings. High-performance MEMS microphones with beamforming technology improve call quality even in noisy environments.

The headphones pay particular attention to comfort, with hybrid soft and hard silicone tips for a secure fit and minimal sound leakage. They are also IP55 rated for water and dust resistance, making them suitable for a variety of environments.

Using the AT Connect app, users can adjust equalizer settings, enable low latency mode for smoother streaming, and find misplaced headphones. Multipoint pairing ensures seamless switching between devices, while Qi wireless charging provides convenient power management. Soundscape mode provides nature sounds, noise masking for focusing, and meditative sound options. Additionally, the customizable button supports playback control, volume control, and integration with Siri or Google Assistant.
