Fender Audio RIFF Bluetooth Speaker
The Fender Audio RIFF is special because it’s more than just a simple Bluetooth speaker. This actually doubles as a guitar and bass amplifier! It has a dedicated 1.4-inch guitar jack input so you can plug your instrument into it and play. Plus, play your favorite music and jam along with them. You can even use the Fender Control app to give your instrument more gain or adjust the sound.
Aside from the instrument support, it’s a pretty good Bluetooth speaker in its own right. It comes with two full-range woofers, two tweeters and two bass radiators, delivering a full 60W output. Touch controls make it intuitive to use, and it’s easy to adjust the sound to your liking. If you want it to do all the hard work, it also has an auto-tone feature that adjusts the sound to the room. There is also a dual microphone setup for calls. It also has 30 hours of battery life.
Of course, there’s also the fact that it looks great, and it gets IP54 ratingso you don’t have to worry too much about the elements that could damage it. You can even sync multiple devices with “Party Mode”. Fender Audio mentions that there is no limit to the number you can connect. This speaker is truly something else, especially if you happen to be a musician.
Marshall Tufton Bluetooth Speaker
If you don’t care much about instrument support, you might want something like Marshall Tufton. This product is especially affordable right now at just $229.99. It rarely goes on sale, so you can take advantage of a massive $220 discount right now. It’s also Marshall’s best truly portable speaker, with a battery that lasts for more than 20 hours.
Marshall Tufton is also big and heavy. It measures 9.02 x 6.42 x 13.78 inches and weighs 10.8 pounds. If you want more portability, you might want to use Fender’s speakers. The audio hardware is pretty good, although the total output is a low 40W. It has a 40W woofer, two 15W full-range drivers, and a 10W tweeter. Marshall deliberately mentions that the speaker provides 360-degree multi-directional sound, so sound doesn’t travel in a specific direction. It sounds just as good no matter where you listen from.
Marshall Tufton is gorgeous too. I’d say the iconic design looks better than the Fender one, but that’s my personal opinion. It’s rated IPX2, which isn’t as good as the Fender, but Marshall is known for its excellent build quality.
Having said that, the Marshall Tufton is currently much cheaper than the Fender Audio RIFF. Even though the RIFF looks like a better speaker, you might prefer to save some money and it still sounds great.
