In the two years since switching to 72-75% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in its products, Belkin has made the switch to more than 359 products and replaced 432 metric tons of virgin plastic with PCR materials.
This year, some of Belkin’s most popular chargers and cables will receive updated case materials that are 85-90% PCR-based, in line with the company’s commitment to finding more responsible ways to create products. The new accessories will be Global Recycling Standard certified and sold in plastic-free packaging. The initiative is estimated to reduce CO2e emissions. for these materials by 84.8%.
The following products will be the first to ship with 85-90% PCR starting in Q2 2025, with more products to be released throughout 2025:
