Our Top Pick: Kindle Scribe

Updated Kindle Scribe launched in December featuring a flush-mount display with a uniform white frame, an updated Premium Pen and built-in AI laptop tools. Like its predecessor, it’s designed to bridge the gap between traditional and digital reading, allowing you to mark up what you read as if you were writing on paper. We didn’t have a chance to try out the new product. e-bookbut our friends from PKMag (also owned by Ziff Davis) received the honor and noted that they “love its large and bright display, the included Premium Pen, and the natural feel of taking notes on the textured glass.” However, they felt that the improvements were not enough to raise the price over the previous model. Luckily, the company just received its first big discount, making the price more reasonable. Take 19% off starting January 6th and get the 16GB model for $324.99 instead of $399.99.

Apple AirTags (4 pcs.)

We were sad when the price of a set of four AirTags jumped again to a sale price of $72.99, but luckily that didn’t last long. As of January 6th, the all-time low price of $69.99 is back on Amazon. That’s 29% off the regular price and essentially gets you over $1.50 free (roughly $29 per AirTag). These Bluetooth trackers has been our favorite among iPhone users for quite some time. As long as you have an Apple device nearby, you can track whatever you attach the AirTag to—suitcase, backpack, keys, guitar case, purse, etc.—and see where you are near it. If you missed out on this world’s best price on AirTags the first time around, be sure to grab one while it’s back on sale.

Garmin Precursor 745

There are plenty of general purpose fitness trackers on the market, but if you’re looking for something more running-focused, check out the Garmin Forerunner 745. It offers specialized running metrics like cadence, stride length, ground contact time, and balance. and training status. Plus, it lets you customize features like VO2 max, training load, intensity minutes, body charge level, and blood oxygen saturation to help you train when you truly feel your best. And like other Garmin smartwatches, it also has truly impressive battery life (up to one week in smartwatch mode, six hours straight in GPS mode with music playing). Apple Watch anyone? As of January 6th, it’s on sale for just $249.99, down from $399.99. That’s a savings of 38% and that’s best price ever.

Vitamix Propel 750 Series Blender

It’s no secret that Vitamix blenders and kitchen systems are expensive. That’s why taking advantage of great deals when you see them is key. As of January 6, the Propel Series 750 is on sale on Amazon for $449.95—a 29% price reduction from its regular price and about $50 off its lowest price ever. The Propel Series combines the powerful performance of a Vitamix with convenient preset blending programs—five to be exact, including smoothies, hot soup, frozen dessert, sauces and spreads, and self-cleaning. Of course, there’s also speed control and a pulse mode to fine-tune the textures of your recipes. Currently, the black model alone costs $449.95. If you want a different color, you will have to pay almost full price.

GoPro Hero 13, black kit

According to our reviewer Tim Beck Wert, the Go Pro Hero 13 Black is “far better than a $400 camcorder has any right to be.” He gave the action camera a 4.7 star rating, citing fantastic motion stabilization, the return of GPS geotagging, professional video up to 5.3K resolution, improved battery life and impressive new lens upgrades, among other features. While it’s not perfect (there are some issues with overheating in low airflow environments), it’s “absolutely worth the $399.99 price tag.” At the discounted price of $299.99 (33% savings), it’s practically a steal. Not to mention, this kit includes the Handler, two Enduro batteries, two curved adhesive mounts, a 64GB SanDisk MicroSD card, and a carrying case.
