
Bird Buddy’s new camera tracks plants and insects in your garden
The creators behind Bird Buddy smart feeder unveiled monitor About activity in your garden, whether it’s seeds germinating or bees visiting one of your flowers. Launched under the new Wonder brand, the Petal camera comes with a bendable pole and universal clip so you can attach it to different areas of your yard.
4K, 12-megapixel camera Use an artificial intelligence system to help identify plants and insects from the included app. You can also interact with the AI chatbot, which will tell you useful information about the activity captured by the camera and what you can do to help your garden.
Like with Bird Buddies Feederyou can use your smartphone to take photos and watch live streams of wildlife through your camera. You can also use the optional solar panel roof to power the device.
If you don’t have the ideal spot to plant your petals, you can pair it with Wonder Blocks, a modular system designed to house plants and attract insects. You can customize the components you place on the Wonder Block base, including plant bases, seed trays, bee hotels, butterfly feeders and bug houses, allowing you to track a variety of activities from one location.
Petal and Wonder Blocks will be available on Kickstarter this spring, but there are no exact pricing details yet.
