black magic announced today Its URSA Cine Immersive cameras are now available for pre-order, with deliveries expected to begin at the end of the first quarter of 2025.

The URSA Cine Immersive camera was first launched in June, but has only now gone on sale. Blackmagic’s device costs $30,000 and is available for pre-order From the Blackmagic website.

This camera is equipped with a customized stereoscopic 3D lens system with dual 8K sensors, which can capture a 180-degree field of view at up to 90 frames per second and support spatial audio. Content is captured at a resolution of 8,160 x 7,200 per eye, with 16 stops of dynamic range for detail and color accuracy in every frame.

Includes dual 5-inch HDR touch screens, and external color status LCD screen. There are a variety of connectivity options, including 12G-SDI output, 10G Ethernet, USB-C and XLR audio ports, and an 8-pin Lemo connector for power.

The included 8TB Blackmagic media module can store approximately two hours of 8K stereoscopic video recorded with Blackmagic RAW, and supports cloud storage for fast media upload and synchronization.
