Bluesky Now Has Its Own Version of TikTok
Bluesky tunes to be a connector on social networks of all transactions. Of course, there is a main experience that replaces something like X or streams. But this is not all about text messages: soon you can use the application such as Flashes to convert Bluesky into a kind of Instagram. However, before it falls, you can use another application to turn Bluesky into Tiktok. This is not quite there, but it is a fascinating view of the unique type of client on social networks – an application that completely turns one platform into something else.
Presenting Bluescreen for Bluesky
Bluescreen is a blues client for one single purpose: he identifies a video from your Bluesfish channel and delivers them to you in an endless Tiktok scroll interface. You do not interact with text messages and do not see motionless images. As if Bluesky offered the “only video” channel. But, since they do not do this, there is a blues screen.
This is a cool idea, and it is also the idea standing behind the outbreaks. Instead of isolating the video in your blues channel, images flashes, which allows Bluesky to the Instagram alternative. If you are surprised by hearing the two different Bluesky clients use the same strategy to achieve two similar results, this is because they are both developed by the same person: Sebastian Vogelsang.
Vogelsang announced Flashes in front of Bluescreen, but released a video application before the photo application. While we are waiting, while the Bluezsky Instagram will get here, we can instead try Tiktok of Bluesky.

In the performance of Bluescreen, he does what he should, although there is definitely a place for growth. As soon as you connect your Bluesky account to the client, you will be presented with a video – just how you open the application, such as Tiktok, or when using Instagram drums or YouTube shorts. As in the case of these services, there are several options for interacting with the video: pressing the “heart” button gives a video how, without the need to leave the video itself. However, if you click on the comment button, Bluescreen leaves the video and shows you comments in another window. You can press a button with two arrows to repost a video, and the “Three Points” icon to gain access to additional controls, for example, translation, exchange and report. There is also a general shower button in the lower right corner.
If you press the video itself, you will raise the standard iOS video management menu. From here you can play and pause, rewind or jump forward, broadcast or control the volume of the video if you cannot but bind to the overall volume setting of your iPhone. Speaking of the volume, this is my only basic criticism of the blues screen, since it exists right now: each video is muffled by default, even if the sound disconnection button says that the volume should be turned on. You must press this shutdown button twice; Once to turn off the video, then turn it on again before he starts to play. You must do this for each video through which you make your way. Oddly enough, this is just a problem when viewing the speakers of your phone: connect a couple of Bluetooth headphones, and the video sounds the way they should. I believe that this is a mistake that Vogelsang will work in due time.
In the upper part of the page you can choose from which channel you can pull out the video. The App Store page says that you can choose from thousands of channels, but if it sounds stunning, you can adhere to a video from your main channels, such as the following tabs or Discover tab, or any of your attached channels. Regarding the choice of an astronomical tape, for example, I am following, and watch the video especially on this topic. (It also shows me that I may need to discard some of my attached channels due to poor quality.) You can also use the search badge in the upper right to look for any content that you like, in addition to the search for trends. Again, if you used to use the platform of social networks, you will be familiar with this.
Theoretically, this can be an amazing experience. If you supervise your blues channels quite well, you may have a diverse filter of all short videos posted on the platform. This is still an early concept, so the user interface is not as smooth or polished as the established video of the application, but I can completely see the potential here.
Downloading your own videos through the blues screen
However, this is not just a passive experience: you can use Bluescreen to download a video in Bluesky. If you click (+) in the lower part of the screen, you can choose a video from your library to publish on Bluesky via Bluescreen. You can access the light editing tools along the way, add a signature for your video, choose who can answer the post, and to the language of the post before publishing. Remember: you do not publish on a blues screen; Rather, Bluesz. Despite the fact that you will look like you are published on a new platform, all that you really do is publish a video with the existing Bluesky account.
