Box integrates Adobe Express directly into its cloud platform

Adobe and Box announced a new partnership on Tuesday that will integrate the two companies’ services. Starting today, Box users will be able to access the Adobe Express image editor directly from the cloud platform, so they can create and edit visual content without having to open another website or app.

Adobe Express now available in Box

For those unfamiliar, Adobe Express is a cloud-based image editor that allows users to create graphics, PDF files, and other digital assets. Through this partnership, Adobe Express becomes the default image editor on the web for Box users.

“We are excited to partner with Adobe Express to enhance our services with the world’s best creative tools and commercially secure AI. As a result, every Box customer and user will be able to manage content in a secure, smart Easily create, collaborate and securely manage digital media on the platform.

Adobe said most of the functionality will be available in Box, including the company’s generative AI Firefly. Other available features include the option to crop and resize the image, apply filters and adjust opacity, remove objects and backgrounds, trim the video, convert it to a GIF and even add subtitles. Of course, all changes are automatically saved on Box.

Box users can also edit PDF files using Adobe Acrobat and preview files from Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign and Illustrator.

Integration with Adobe Express will be available initially to Box Enterprise subscribers at no additional cost. There’s also no need to sign up for a separate Adobe Express plan. You can find more details on the Box website.
