The Google Pixel 8a is actually our favorite budget phone, even without the discounts. It’s a steal at $399, and despite its lower price, it’s a really great phone. The design is very similar to it Pixel 8 series. While the material isn’t as premium, you still get an aluminum frame. The plastic back actually feels pretty good and has a nice grip that can’t be replicated with glass. it even gets a IP67 ratingConsidering this is a budget phone, that’s a nice treat.

Unlike most budget phones, this device is also very capable. it has a capable Google tensor G3 Internal processor. Again, this is the same chip found on the Pixel 8 series. It also comes with 8GB of RAM, which is more than enough for most users. I honestly never experienced any slowdown while using this phone.

We actually prefer the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, but that phone isn’t available in the US. This makes the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G the best Samsung budget phone in our country. Still, it’s a great device. The design is very reminiscent of all other Samsung devices, which is a good thing. It is stylish and very elegant and has an IP67 rating.

The display is actually surprisingly good for a device in this price range. It features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Performance isn’t a big issue here either. The phone is powered by Exynos 1380 and this version comes with 6GB RAM.

It is the only mainstream smartphone other than the Galaxy S Ultra series to feature a stylus, making it very convenient to use for note-taking or general navigation. We’re also fans of Motorola’s unique design, which features a leather-like grippy textured back. It comes in some really pretty colors and looks very unique in the world of glass panels.

Performance is also good when used with modern budget devices. It utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor coupled with a healthy 8GB of RAM. The 6.7-inch P-OLED screen is actually quite outstanding. It delivers a great visual experience, with deep blacks and vibrant colors, along with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

If you care about battery life, this is the best option of the three. We got two days of continuous use on each charge. Not to mention, the charging speed is very fast at 30W.
