New year, new Dell. At CES this year, the company announced a full-scale rebranding of its PCs, including new product tiers. The new product lines are called Dell (replaces Inspiron and XPS models), Dell Plus (replaces Inspiron Plus), Dell Pro (replaces Latitude) and Dell Pro Max (replaces Precision).
Depending on the power and mobility you need, you’ll also have a choice between three sub-levels for each: Basic, Plus and Premium. Still with me? His Very confusing, I know. The Dell 14 Plus features a 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, stereo speakers (complete with Dolby Atmos spatial audio), and a host of ports including USB-C, USB-A, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI. and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Under the hood, you’ll have a choice between different Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors (ranging from Intel Core Ultra 5 to Ultra 9) and an Intel Arc graphics card (130V or 140V, both of which are tied to different processors).
If you want more, the Dell 16 Plus has the same features as the 14 Plus, but with a larger, brighter display. Both sizes are also available in a 2-in-1 version with a 360-degree hinge that allows you to position the laptop in tent or tablet mode. And this PC CoPilot+with access to AI features such as Recall, Cocreator, Live Captions and Windows Studio effects.
The Dell 14 Plus starts at $1,099 and the Dell 16 Plus starts at $1,149. Both laptops will go on sale on February 18th.
