Considering X, Open artificial intelligence CEO announced Sora During the holidays, all ChatGPT Plus users have unlimited access to the new AI video generator, completely free of charge.
Sora just opened to the public last week and is proving to be a huge success, thanks to its ease of use and quick ability to convert any prompt into a video. Altman announced the additional gift, claiming that “our GPUs will become less busy at the end of December as people take a break from work.” In other words, have some fun with AI and Sora this December and make AI generated puppy videos.
The announcement comes after the main finale of the 12-day OpenAI conference, where the company behind Chat GPT announced its new o3 and o3-mini Inference models, which perform better than existing models, are expected to be launched in the coming months.
To get early access to o3 when it becomes available, and to take advantage of Sora’s unlimited access over the next week or so, you’ll need ChatGPT Plus. ChatGPT Plus costs $20/£16/AU$30 per month and comes with a host of other benefits, including faster response times and all the latest models from OpenAI.
