Check out Google’s new Squid Game Easter egg

Who doesn’t enjoy the good things Easter Egg — Are there some interesting hidden elements in the software or service that are often unlocked through secret triggers? Android Easter Eggs It’s been around virtually since the platform’s inception and features everything from basic animations to interactive games. While these are great, and we look forward to new Easter eggs every year when a new operating system is released, other Easter eggs are far less predictable—like the ones we occasionally get from a Google search. You know we ask this question for a reason, because today we’re taking a look at Google’s latest offering.

Not only are we in the middle of the year-end holiday season, but today also marks the release of Season 2 of Squidward Games Netflix. Samsung has taken the lead in launching its own products Squid Game Promotionit turns out that a new Google Squid game Easter egg has been hiding right under our noses for the past few days.

To get started, just search Google for “Squid Game” on the desktop web or mobile. Start looking at the results and you’ll soon find a card with the series glyph shape used in the series. Click or click here to start the actual game, an in-browser version of the Red Light, Green Light game that debuted in the show’s pilot episode.

Just like Squidward, the goal here is to get your team across the finish line, but you’re only allowed to move if the robot doll on top isn’t looking. Pay attention to her musical cues and keep your reaction times tight, and you shouldn’t have much trouble getting your team to successfully achieve their goals. It ends up being a little too slow, and if you’re caught moving, a member of your team will be eliminated – though the fatal consequences are much less common than what you’ll see on the show.

Granted, the game is pretty simple – though given the consequences of the demo version, we’d take Google’s version any day. Take a minute or two to try it out for yourself and decide what to watch on Netflix tonight.
