Compact SSD delivers pro-grade performance for creators

ShiftCam presented by Plank

ShiftCam unveiled Planck at CES 2025, the smallest SSD ever created, designed to provide fast, portable storage for iPhone videographers.

Designed with durability in mind, Planck is drop-resistant and IP65 waterproof, making it ideal for professionals working in dynamic environments. Its ultra-compact form factor and USB-C compatibility ensure seamless integration with smartphones, laptops and gaming consoles.

Planck, available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, improves data-intensive projects with a combination of practicality, speed and resiliency, making it an ideal choice for creative people.

Planck SSD: compact and high-performance

With read and write speeds of up to 1050 MB/s, the SSD can transfer up to 200 GB of data in three minutes. What’s more, Planck supports 4K/120 ProRes recording directly from devices like the iPhone 15 Pro.

Built with durability in mind, Planck is drop-resistant and IP65 waterproof. It works with USB-C compatible smartphones, laptops and game consoles, offering plug-and-play functionality.

Planck will launch on Kickstarter in February 2025 with a starting price of $125 for 1TB capacity.

SnapStudio Light and the SnapSeries Ecosystem

Complementing Planck, SnapStudio Light offers professional-grade lighting but is 38% smaller than standard ring lights. With adjustable brightness and color temperature, this MagSafe-compatible light makes content creation easy. Providing up to 600 lumens of light output, it is compatible with other SnapSeries tools.
