Corsair’s next gen AiO coolers feature circular LCD panels
It looks like Corsair is preparing a line of next-generation all-in-one liquid CPU coolers in time for the release of Intel’s Alder Lake desktop processors. Tech site dedicated to information leaks VideoKardz contains many detailed images of these new AiO CPU coolers from different angles. Some of the leaked promotional images even show coolers installed in a system based on an Asus Prime Z690 motherboard with Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory.
Of course, the new all-in-one PCs will come with mounts for LGA1700, for the new ADL processor/socket. On Instagram, Corsair, in particular, teases an LCD display with a pump-action unit. It will be a circular display and users will be able to customize what is shown on the screen. From the images, we can see that useful health indicators will be one of the options that users will be able to customize: fan speed, CPU temperature, coolant temperature and other parameters will be monitored through the built-in display.
Among the leaked Corsair PR materials are details of individual fans, different angles of the processor unit, and a heatsink with two and three fans. We don’t know if these are the existing aRGB fans or if they have been updated too.
Corsair AiO coolers are ready for LGA1700 and Intel Alder Lake processors
There’s some peace of mind that your investment in Corsair AiO won’t have to be discounted if you upgrade to Intel ADL-S in the coming months. The company announced that it has created LGA1700 Upgrade Kit which supports a wide range of currently shipping and legacy all-in-one CPU coolers, “including the full award-winning Elite Capellix line, RGB PRO XT line, H100x and more.”
Corsair’s LGA1700 kits aren’t free, but they’re very reasonably priced at $2.99/€2.99/£1.99 with free shipping to the US and Europe. A complete installation kit (instead of an upgrade) is also available for $14.99.
