Day of the Earth: The Looney Tunes Movie was targeting a worldwide release date of February 28, 2025, but its path to the big screen has been winding and often delayed after being abandoned by upcoming films. Warner Bros. Discovery Executive David Zaslav ended up landing a theatrical demo from the unlikeliest of indie distribution partners as a direct-to-streaming feature.

Now take a look at the hilarious first trailer, released on December 13 ahead of its Oscar-qualifying run, ahead of its worldwide release next year.

This hand-drawn work represents the first fully animated film Looney Tunes With a long history of 80 years, it originally debuted at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France in June this year.
