Samsung has released a new software update for one of its 2023 flagship tablets, Galaxy Tab S9. It brings December 2024 Security Update on a tablet that Fixes several security issues.
The South Korean tech giant has made the update available for the non-cellular (Wi-Fi only) variant of the device bearing the model number SM-X710. We can confirm that the update is available in Korea. Samsung should soon make the new firmware available in other countries, as well as for other variants of the tablet.
The software update changes the Galaxy Tab S9’s firmware version to X710XXU5BXL6at least in Korea. Go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to get the latest update. We have posted an update to our database. You can download it from Here and install it manually using Odin on Windows PC.
The Galaxy Tab S9 is among the devices eligible to receive Android 15. One UI 7.0 update. The new software comes with a ton of new features, which you can check out in the video below.
