Ekster’s Stylish Wallet is Pocket-Sized Perfection
If you are worried about losing your wallet, you can go get it Tracking card available for an additional $49. I chose Android versionwhich works with the Chipolo network to display the last known location of your wallet on a map. There’s also an iOS version that works with Apple’s Find My network. like everyone best trackerboth versions allow you to dial your wallet from your phone, which is ideal when you have to catch a train and your wallet has slipped between the sofa cushions. You can even set legacy alerts so you’ll be notified if your wallet goes out of range of your phone.
The iOS tracker has a battery life of up to six months, and the Android version has about three months. You can plug the iOS model in to charge, but the Android tracker has a small solar panel to keep it charged. They are as thick as several cards and fit snugly in the back pocket. I have never lost my wallet.
More simple
While the EksterParliament is my favorite, I’ve also tested some of Ekster’s other models. The Cardholder and Cardholder Pro ditch the leather exterior for a sleeker look and come in some fun colors and patterns like forged magma and carbon fiber. They retain the trigger and other features, making them perfect if you like to travel as light as possible. I’ve given it to a couple as gifts, my older son uses the Ekster cardholder and loves it.
When you choose a minimalist wallet like this, space is limited, no room for coins and only limited space for banknotes. But there are optional add-ons. Modular extras include Multi-Tool Card ($49)one Cash Clip Back Plate ($29)and a Coin Tray ($29). Coin trays are very convenient and can hold keys, but you don’t want to add too many extras or your wallet will get bigger.
Ultimately, Exeter Council has been in my pocket for a few years now, and it’s still working pretty well. I never miss my thick, old wallet, and I still love pulling the trigger every time I reach for a card. This tracker has also been a lifesaver for me many times, reassuring me that I leave my wallet in another jacket instead of going out and about. It’s a bit pricey, but it may be the last wallet you ever need to buy.
