Elon Musk recently said that he “is not chatting from buying Tiktok.”
Musk made these comments during an interview at the Economic Summit of Welt on January 28. A video of the interview was published today.
The interview was held after President Donald Trump postponed the law requiring a mother’s company to sell Tiktok or see it is prohibited in the United States. At that time, there were reports that the Chinese government was open for a transaction in which Musk (the key ally of Trump) would have acquired an application. But Musk claimed that he was not interested, categorically stating: “I did not put it in the ticktock.”

Musk comments on Tiktoka appeared almost 20 minutes after the interview, which initially focused on his plans for his government efficiency department (DOGE) under the Trump administration.
