espresso 15 Pro: Portable 4K 15-inch touchscreen monitor
The Espresso 15 Pro meets all the requirements of Apple users who want a high-end portable monitor. 4K? Check. Touch screen? Check. USB-C? Check.
The 15-inch screen, a smaller version of the espresso 17 Pro, was unveiled at CES 2025. It even won a CES Innovation Award for espresso displays.
Take your office on the go with espresso 15 Pro
Research shows that adding an external monitor to your MacBook or iPad improves productivity. Espresso Displays offers a line of such devices and is expanding its selection with a new high-end model.
“The espresso 15 Pro is designed for business travelers, professionals on the go, and people who want a high-performance tool that will help them get the best results where they need to work,” said espresso Displays CEO and co-founder Will Scuderi.
A 4K LCD display is superior to most portable screens because it has a 1080p resolution. And its backlight also reaches 550 nits – much brighter than many competitors.
The espresso 15 Pro touchscreen works with macOS and Windows and can be used with the espresso pen for taking notes, sketching, and more. Or it can be used as a regular monitor with iPad, iPhone, and Samsung Galaxy devices running DeX.
Power and data are transferred through a single USB-C connection, making it easy to connect your screen.
The LCD is housed in a matte black aluminum body rather than the usual plastic. “Espresso 15 Pro is designed to give people the best in premium glass and aluminum design,” Scuderi said.
Innovation stand+ included in the price
Espresso displays introduced 15″ non-touchscreen version in November. The highlight is the Stand+, a collapsible magnetic stand that holds the screen upright next to the laptop but also expands to place a portable screen above the computer’s own display.
The advanced Espresso 15 Pro will also come with a Stand+. And it’s quite possible that it was this accessory that made the product a CES Innovation Award winner.
Espresso Displays has announced its next portable monitor because CES 2025 happening this week in Las Vegas, not because the screen is ready to ship. The company is not yet ready to even disclose the price and will only say that the launch will take place “in the coming months.”
