According to reports, notebook manufacturer Clevo is preparing to launch a new high-performance 18-inch notebook at the 2019 exhibition. International Consumer Electronics Show 2025 with extremely high-end internals and next-generation CPU. IT House Report A tipster has revealed the specs of the new laptop, which is reported to have Arrow Lake-HX Series 55W CPU option, 18-inch large screen, and supports up to 192GB memory.
Specific Arrow Lake HX CPU models are not listed, but leaked specs indicate that the laptop will run on the “Arrow Lake HX 55W platform,” so we can expect the laptop to compete with any of Intel’s Arrow Lake HX series CPU compatible TDP is 55W or lower. Blue Sky also goes all out in terms of memory configuration, providing four DDR5 SODIMM memory slots to support memory speeds up to DDR5-5600.
The GPU platform will reportedly consist of an Nvidia “GN22” board powering one GPU. As expected, GN22 is rumored to be the mobile motherboard platform that will power the mobile versions of Nvidia’s RTX 50 series GPUs.
Storage consists of up to four PCIe M.2 slots, one of which runs at PCIe 5.0 speeds and the rest at PCIe 4.0 speeds. This Clevo 18-inch laptop may be one of the first laptops to support PCIe 5.0 SSD, thanks to Intel’s updated Arrow Lake I/O. All four M.2 slots support the widely adopted M.2 2280 form factor.
As mentioned earlier, the monitor specifications include an 18-inch panel with a “narrow bezel design.” There will be two resolution options: 4K and 1440p. Suffice it to say, no one knows which display option is the “higher level option”. Typically, higher-resolution monitors are the flagship models, but if the 1440p option offers a higher update rate and better response times, it might be more suitable for gamers; only time will tell if that’s the case. The screen will also natively support G-Sync, providing gamers with adaptive refresh rate support.
I/O includes dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (one powered), 1 mini DisplayPort, 1 HDMI port, 1 2-in-1 vocal jack, dual (yes, two) RJ-45 Ethernet ports, and a DC-in port for charging. The highlight of the show was the laptop’s dual Thunderbolt 5 Type-C ports. Interestingly, these two ports are said to only come directly from the Nvidia discrete GPU, not from the Arrow Lake CPU or the motherboard itself. This shows that Nvidia is integrating Thunderbolt support directly into RTX 50 series GPUs, which will be one of the most significant GPU I/O upgrades in years. The HDMI and DisplayPort connectors are also powered only by the discrete GPU.
