Jiaming has launched a new beta version for its Fenix 8 and Enduro 3 smartwatch range, with a host of bug fixes, tweaks and some new features for early adopters.
New update, announced on Garmin’s websiteavailable for Fenix 8 AMOLED 43mm, 47mm, 51mm; Fenix 8 Solar 47mm and 51mm; Endurance 3; and Fenix E.
Users signed up for the public beta program can download the update from the “Check for Updates” section of their Garmin wearable device.
Version 13.12 brings 40 different new features, tweaks, and bug fixes to the Fenix 8 and Enduro 3, Garmin’s two top-tier rugged smartwatches. Note, however, that Garmin says the new beta version of the Fenix 8 will disable ECG and Diveive. features, but they will be available again on what we expect to be a live beta software release. The company hasn’t said why the beta disabled these features, although the Dive issue may be related to an issue with the Fenix 8 crashing when submerged in cold water.
