Gigabyte BRIX GB-BTIP-N150 is a small desktop computer with a 6W quad-core Intel N150 Twin Lake processor and support for up to three displays and two storage devices. BRICS GB-BRU7-255Х is a more powerful model with a 16-core Intel Core Ultra 255H “Arrow Lake” processor with a power of 28 W and an even more compact design.
Gigabyte introduced both systems at CES 2025, but I haven’t seen any pricing or availability information yet.
While both systems support dual storage, the Twin Lake model has a taller chassis to make room for a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD in addition to a single M.2 2280 slot for PCIe Gen 3×2 storage, and the Arrow The Lake version has a thinner profile and does not support a 2.5-inch drive.
But with a much faster processor, two SODIMM slots for up to 96GB of memory, support for up to two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4×4 SSDs, and faster networking and USB features, the BRIX GB-BRU7-255H is clearly the best decision. more premium than the two new Intel-based mini PCs.
