Gladiator 2 Streaming, VOD and DVD Release Dates

After almost 25 years, Ridley Scott returns to the world of swords, sandals and bloody deaths in the arena. For a long time, 2000’s Gladiator was considered the most incredible modern tale set in the ancient world (despite its many historical inaccuracies). It was also one of Scott’s most entertaining films, winning five Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actor.

It looks like the British director is ready to surpass his own achievement, as Gladiator 2 has even more scope than its predecessor.

Apart from the impressive set design and full-fledged battle scenes, the film attracts attention with its stellar cast. The lead role, Lucius, Lucilla’s now grown son, is played by Paul Mescal, known for his performances in Normal People and After the Sun. The film also stars Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Denzel Washington (The Tragedy of Macbeth), Connie Nielsen (Wonder Woman 1984), Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), Derek Jacobi (Tomb Raider) and Fred Hechinger (White Lotus).

When will Gladiator 2 be released on VOD?

In the US, Ridley Scott’s latest film can be purchased or rented on platforms such as Prime Video or iTunes. It arrived digitally just before Christmas on December 24, 2024.

However, UK audiences will have to wait longer for the film to premiere on VOD. Gladiator 2 will be available for purchase on Tuesday, January 14, 2025and for rent – for Tuesday, January 28, 2025 You can currently pre-order the film on the website Prime Video UK.

When will Gladiator 2 be streaming?

It is not yet known when the film will be released Paramount+ in the USA and on UK services.
