Apple Invites is a great idea, but Google Photos and Calendar could make it even better

Earlier this week, Apple released its last application, Apple Invites, as a smart combination of iCloud services for invitations to digital events. Apple Invites is a great idea, but I can’t help but feel, but with products like a calendar, Gmail and photos are ready, Google could have done better.

Digital invitations are what we all used in recent years. A simple idea saves a lot of time and effort, sending the physical cards to “save the date”, and there are many options.

In fact, Apple Invites does not break the new basis, but provides a product that is better integrated with many services that its users already receive. You and your guests can add photos from the event to the Shard ICloud album. Everyone can cooperate in the Apple Music playlist. When the time comes to get to the event, Apple Maps is ready for navigation right here.

This is a well -made service, and, to the honor of Apple, it works surprisingly for Android users.

But I cannot stop wondering why Google has not done this yet. Looking back, it’s so obvious.

Google Calendar is already a planner for many people. The presence of a special configuration of the invitation, which depends on personal events, will be of great importance for simplifying planning, and with Gmail, messages about messages will become a breeze. The musical integration of YouTube and the standard YouTube outside this will make things even more powerful. A huge base of Google photos will also make general Super Nice albums, and, possibly, without the restrictions that Apple has for users without accounting ICLOD.

This is really a key part of the riddle here. While the Apple barrier for entry for invitations is amazingly low, it would be even lower for Google, since huge Most people have a Google account. Even if you are an iPhone user, you likely Have a Google account, which does not apply to iCloud for those who have not invested in the Apple ecosystem.

I think that Apple’s pastries invite Google to the calendar would be amazing. But with Google’s focus on artificial intelligence functions, I doubt it will be a priority, even if the Apple version flew out in popularity.
