Google announced today Google releases 2024 year in review photomimicking Spotify and apple music Let it out.

According to Google, the retrospective is a series of memories and a series of interesting insights designed to help users “rediscover the special moments of the year.”

Google Photos Recap highlights memorable photos and videos from the year and pairs them with graphic and cinematic effects. Recap, which includes personalized captions generated by Google’s Gemini AI model, is available to some users in the United States.

The retrospective will also provide tidbits about the year based on the images captured, such as your longest burst, who you took the most photos of, the best colors you captured, and who you smiled with.

Review memories and insights can be shared directly from Google Photos to messaging and social media apps. Starting today, the Recap feature is rolling out to Google Photos users.
