Google has just announced that its enhanced video creation tool Veo is now available to select business customers through a private preview. Companies can access Veo through Vertex AI, Google Cloud’s platform for building and running artificial intelligence models.

The Power of Veo

First introduced at the Google I/O Developer Conference in May, Veo is Google’s flagship device. AI model for converting text to video capable of creating short high-definition video clips at 720p or 1080p resolution. Users can create six-second clips from text prompts or images, with options for cinematic effects, time-lapse, and even mask editing to clarify certain sections of the video.

Artificial Intelligence Tools also offers flexibility in aspect ratio, supporting both standard landscape and portrait formats. Along with Veo, Google has also made its advanced image generator Imagen 3 widely available on Vertex AI, introducing new customization and editing tools to users.

Google has equipped Veo with tools to help businesses create content safely and responsibly. Videos are watermarked using DeepMind’s SynthID technology to prevent misuse, and the platform has security filters to block harmful or unethical content. Google also guarantees that customer data will not be used for train AI.
