The next generation of the iPhone SE can debut next week. According to rumors, the device will provide the IPhone 14 design language with USB-C, A18 chip with Apple intelligence and many others. You probably have already heard all these headline functions, but there are other significant rumors that may have gone under the radar for you, which we will repeat today.

New name?

One interesting rumor for the iPhone SE 4 is that it can have a new name completely: iPhone 16E.

The alignment of the iPhone SE with the rest of the iPhone name line would certainly be excellent for clarity. Apple would also have a convenient way to present a new device at a slightly higher price than the previous iPhone SE.

This hearing came from only a few non -optimal sources, so take it with salt grain, but I will still remember this.

48 -megapixel camera

The first modem Apple

Back in 2019, Apple acquired Intel Modem Business. Since then, they have been working on the creation of modems in the house, moving on to the transition away from Qualcomm.

With the new iPhone SE, these new modems should finally appear.

This modem is not expected that it will be too bizarre, so it will not be in most of the iPhone 17 line. Nevertheless, it would be great to see, and this is certainly saving costs for Apple, at least for each object. Of course, this will be the largest attempt by Apple in deeper vertical integration, as the company moved to Apple Silicon on Mac in 2020.
