Hi-Fi Rush Studio Officially Reborn At PUBG Company

Tango Gameworks is dead; long live Tango Gameworks Inc. The developer almost closed for good a few months before Crafton stepped in.

on XEarlier this week, Tango announced a “fresh start” for the studio, saying it was “excited to continue making games that bring joy to players around the world.” This is the first post from the official Tango account since May 7, 2024 The developer said it would “close”. This message is a result of Tango One of four studios Microsoft closed at the timewhich also includes Redfall’s Arkane Austin.

However, in August, Tango was saved by Craftonand also acquired the copyright to Hi-Fi Rush. The studio, founded in 2010 and best known for the survival horror series The Evil Within, will apparently stay at Microsoft. Hi-Fi Rush 2 was in development before Microsoft shut down Tangoalthough the sequel has yet to be officially released. Krafton realizes Hi-Fi Rush 2 probably won’t make any money, but that’s okay For the company – if Tango decides to move forward with the project.
