Honor GT launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, IMX906 and 100W charging
Honor’s gaming-centric GT series welcomes its newest member today Honor GT. This is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone with a large VC heatsink, 5,300mAh silicon carbon battery and 100W wired charging.
Honor GT uses a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated for peak local brightness of up to 4,000 nits and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 16MP selfie camera.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Honor has also added the Honor 3D cooling system, which uses a 5,514 mm2 VC radiator with graphite elements and 9W thermal gel.
The back is equipped with a 50MP camera (IMX906) and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, while the software side is covered by MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.
Honor GT comes in three colors: ice white, phantom black, and aurora green. Pricing is 12/256GB Pruning starts with CNY 2,199 (USD 302)while the top specs 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage version is CNY 3,299 (USD 453). The device is already available for purchase in China through Honor’s official website, and the first batch of shipments is scheduled to take place tomorrow, December 18.
