How to fix Indiana Jones and the Great Circle motion sickness problems

Greetings, disgusting travelers, just want to enjoy Indiana Jones and the Circle But you can’t play for more than one hour at a time. You’ve come to the right place. I also couldn’t handle the weird head-shaking movements our hero makes in this first-person game. By playing with a combination of settings in the options menu, I’ve managed to make the game work for me – and maybe for you too.

Are you still a little dizzy sometimes? Yes. Do I still want the team at MachineGames to remove the head bob altogether? Yes. please. But until then, these are my tips for getting through this adventure.

First, open the options menu and go to the “Video” section. In this section you can implement my most effective changes first, which unfortunately are only available in this menu if you play the game on PC rather than console. This suggestion is for Increase the Field of View slider to at least 100. You can even set it to 110 if you like; try different levels and see what works best for you.

The next options are available on both console and PC. Go to “Motion Blur” and set it to “Off” (Apologies for this particular artistic decision).

The last setting in this section that you might consider is called “picture frame” — It’s at the top of the list in the screenshot above. My whole game is “Cinema” modemeaning gameplay and cutscenes always have black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. It should make the game look like a movie. I honestly don’t like the look of it (I think that’s a corny conceit), but it does seem to help with my nausea levels.

We’re not done yet. Next, navigate to the Accessibility menu.

You can also adjust the field of view and motion blur here, but you already do that, right?

More importantly, you’ll want Set camera stabilization to “On”, and Screen vibration is set to “off”.

Finally, try to sit as far away from the screen as possible when playing games. This will help solve the problem. When you use this menu, you can increase the size of the subtitles to accommodate increased distance from the screen.

If all else fails and you’re playing on PC, just wait until someone makes a mod that fixes Indy’s tendency to shake his head every time he takes a step, or one that puts the entire game into third-person mode module(it’s definitely possible). Until then, these Band-Aids are all we have.
