How to get Umbra Ability in A Universal Time (AUT 4.2 update) – Destructoid

AUT 4.2 update is now available in World Timeand the Umbra ability has received a major overhaul.

The redesign has certainly increased the potential of this capability and made it much more competitive and efficient than before. Naturally, it will be very useful for you to obtain and use it in the game. Despite the processing, the process of obtaining it, to put it mildly, is quite lengthy. To unlock the Umbra ability in the AUT 4.2 update, you will have to complete several quests.

How to unlock Umbra ability in Universal Time (AUT 4.2 update)

To begin the process, talk to the NPC Umbra located in the Floating Village. The NPC will be located next to his clone. After speaking with the NPC, you will be given a series of quests that will require you to craft a Sovereign Head item. Here’s a complete list of all the items you’ll need.

• Corrupted Soul: Can be obtained from loot boxes, but may be difficult to find.
• Demonic Scroll: Defeat the Hunter boss.
• Death fragment: Defeat the Shadow Assassin boss.
• Divine Doctor’s Poison: For this item you need to combine a Monochrome Sphere, a Kinetic Sphere and a Corrupted Arrow from a crafting NPC.
• Heavenly Nectar: Drops randomly from chests.
• Tales of the Universe: You can get this by defeating Oni (30% chance) or opening loot boxes.

All of these items will be required to create the Head of the Sovereign item. After that, go and talk to the Umbra NPC again. You will be tasked with defeating Skibidi Nubi and the Sovereign Bosses.

You can encounter Skibidi Nubi at any boss altar, and the Sovereign Boss will spawn in the Dark Souls domain once every 30 minutes. Once you have defeated both bosses, return to NPC Umbra and he will give you a fairy item.

Combine a Fable item with an Overlord’s Head item and you can create an Overlord’s Sword. To unlock the Umbra ability, use Standless to get the new and redesigned version.
