His THIS WEEK And HP just announced an update to the budget option HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop. Debuting in 2022, it has since become HP’s most popular gaming laptop—and is already in a good season.

Looking at the specifications, the 2025 HP Victus 15 features a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) anti-glare 144Hz display with 300 nits brightness and dual DTS:X speakers with HP Audio Boost. The top panel of the laptop cleverly integrates an HP Wide Vision 720p HD camera with dual microphones.
Depending on your use case or preference, you can choose up to Intel Core i7-13620H 10-core, Intel Core 5 210H 8-core or AMD 8-core Ryzen 9 8945HS processor and up to 16 GB of RAM. Graphics cards range from Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050/3050/4050/4060 GPU to AMD RX 6550M GPU.
The base HP Victus 15 starts with a 512GB SSD, which should be the minimum for now since new game files are large. I recently downloaded SIFU and it ate up 20 GB of my disk. If you’re worried about running out of space, consider a 1TB SSD. It’s worth noting that the new Intel-powered Victus laptops support an optional SSD for additional gaming storage.
The new 2025 HP Victus 15 is available in three color schemes to match or build around your gaming setup. Choose from Mica Silver, Performance Blue and the new Powder Pink color (Intel models only).
In terms of pricing and availability, the 2025 HP Victus gaming laptop will start at $1,199 and is expected to launch in January on HP.com.
