Its hardware package is truly impressive. Mate X6 display ratio Galaxy Z Fold6 But the weight is the same, 239 grams.
The Mate X6 is also very thin when folded, at less than 10mm (compared to the Galaxy’s 12.1mm).
The Mate X6 feels solid. It folds with neat clasps and unfolds with the mechanical support of hinges. This nebula gray look is also lovely.
Both monitors are great. The one inside is very big (a little bigger than the one above) Honor Magic V3) and is ideal for running two applications in parallel.
Huawei has been mum on the chipset inside the Mate X6, but it’s the Kirin 9020, and we can say the Mate X6 is responsive, at least after initial setup, and about as fast as a flagship phone.
Huawei is pushing the envelope when it comes to cameras on foldable devices. The Mate X6 features a 50 MP main camera with a RYYB sensor and f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture, and a 48 MP periscope telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom and 5cm super macro mode. The third shooter is a 40 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with autofocus.
We’ll give you a review spoiler and say that the Mate X6’s photos are impressive – especially the 2x ones.
