I Built This Tool to Turn Your CSV Files into Beautiful Visualizations Instantly

Hello, development community! 👋

I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on: CSVIZ 🚀

question
As developers, data analysts, and even business users, we often spend a lot of time working with CSV archives – preparing data sets, deciding how to visualize them, and coding or configuring tools to extract insights.

This process can be time-consuming, repetitive, and frustrating, especially if you just want to quickly analyze data or share the results with others.

solution
I wanted to create a tool that made working with CSV files fast, intuitive, and enjoyable.
With CSVIZ you can:

Upload your CSV file.
Automatically analyze data (no preprocessing required).
Produce stunning visualizations with minimal effort.
No need to write any code!

Main features

  1. Code-free visualization: generate bar charts, line charts, pie charts, histograms, etc.
  2. Smart operations: Automatically group, filter and aggregate data based on your data set.
  3. Exportable results: Download graphs or processed data for use in reports and presentations.
  4. Secure processing: Data is processed securely, locally or in the cloud, ensuring privacy.

Who is it suitable for?
Whether you are a developer, data scientist or business user, CSVIZ can help you:

  • Save time preparing data sets.
  • Quickly visualize insights.
  • No complex tools are required to present material effectively.

Beta version is online🎉
I’ve launched a beta version of CSVIZ and I hope you’ll give it a try. It’s completely free at this stage, and your feedback will help shape the future of the tool.

how it is built
Here’s a quick overview of the technology stack:

Front-end: Built with React to provide a responsive and intuitive user experience.
Backend: Powered by Node.js and Supabase for secure and efficient processing of data.
Data Visualization: Apache ECharts provides customizable and beautiful charts.

What’s next?
I plan to add support for:

  • Excel file (.xlsx)
  • Visual advanced customization
  • Integrate with tools like Google Sheets

I’d love to hear your feedback!
If this sounds useful to you, give it a try and let me know what you think. Feedback from this amazing community is invaluable in improving CSVIZ!
