You got me, Apple. I don’t think you can design hard plastic earbuds that I like as much as the AirPods Pro, but you can design the AirPods 4 with ANC kicks (and ears). Finally, there’s no need to shove the silicone tip deep into your ear canal to achieve rock-solid noise cancellation.

You also get most of the other features of AirPods Pro, including spatial audio, a wireless charging case, full Find My support, and excellent call quality. Sadly, the Pro lacks revolutionary hearing aid features, but if you’re not quite to the point of needing them, there are other features here to like.
